Expert Testimony for the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong
2000–2001 Prepared “expert testimony” for the Hong Kong Department of Education for use in a lawsuit concerning discriminatory use of test scores and grades for placement in secondary schools. Testimony was provided to the Hong Kong court. Made recommendations for school change—presentations to numerous groups in Hong Kong, including the Legislative Council, Department of Education, parents, and school administrators. The outcome affects approximately 1 million children every year.
